Good afternoon Garden and Mountain families,

This week the children worked on sorting and learning colors.  The children read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?, That’s not my Panda, and Baby Touch and Feel Colors and Shapes.  The children sang “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes,” “The Rainbow Colors Song,” and “If You’re Happy and you Know It.”

The children practiced using spoons, putting shoes and hats on, and cleaning up toys.  The children stretched like cats for yoga, threw balls up the loft ramp, and climbed mats.

During music with Ms. Kathleen the children danced with scarves to “The Bumblebee Song.”  The children also played jingle bells and listened to animal sounds.
