Hello Evergreen Families

It has been an exciting time of year for the children. We had a lot of discussions about holiday celebrations and family including extended family that may be visiting or visited. This week the children had an opportunity to tell us about their family and then paint their family which was a hit of an activity.

Also, we finished introducing the letter Bb, it’s sound and name as well as listing words that have the beginning sound. The wording we use while writing “B” is down, bump, bump, which you may hear your child saying while they write. They especially like saying “bumble bee” and “buzz” when we review in graphics writing. Lastly, the children began a new activity called Buddy Reading where they are paired and take turns telling/reading their book to their buddy.
