Hello Garden and Mountain families,

This week our theme was spring.  During circle we sang “Rain, Rain Go Away”, “All the Raindrops” and “Five Little Ducks”.  The children listened to In the Garden, Happy Bee, and Five Green and Speckled Frogs.      

For large motor activities this week, the children explored crawling through tunnels and pushing wagons and bikes.

For art this week the children made art with chalk. Inside they colored on black paper and outside they used chalk on the sidewalk. The children also participated in a variety of sensory experiences this week, including exploring sand and leaves in the sensory table. The children also explored bubbles, and helped dig dirt when we planted our garden this week!

In music class with Ms. Kathleen, the children took turns beating drums, played bells and listened to farm animal noises.
