Dear Treehouse Families,
This time of the year there are so many fall festivals and fun family events. This month the City of Lafayette is All About Birds! If you are looking for something to do try:
- Flight at Night: Waneka Lake on Saturday Sept. 22nd. 6:30-8:30 pm – a walk around the lake with homemade lanterns, storytelling, stargazing, night birds and more! Meet at the Waneka Lake playground.
- Celebrating Bird Migration: Sunday, September 23rd. 1:00-3:00 pm. Explore the wonderful world of birds and see birds of prey up close. Projects and a scavenger hunt with displays from local organizations. Free! Meet at the Waneka Lake East Parking lot.

- September 25th -28th – School Pictures with Lil’ Angels
- Tuesday – Aspen, Birch, Garden & Mountain
- Wednesday – Evergreen
- Thursday – Forest
- Friday – River, Cedar & Dogwood
- Your child can be photographed on any day, but full class pictures will be taken on the day listed. Please let us know your day preference for sibling photos!
- September 25-29 – Founder’s Week in honor of Dr. Nancy Benson
- September 29th – 5th Annual Family Fun Run
- 10:00am at Waneka Lake Park
