Dear Birch Families,
This week was all about taking care of the garden. The children were excited to help plant a garden. We planted pumpkins, flowers, and zucchini. Then the children helped water the garden. This week we also did a nature scavenger hunt. The children were excited to discover a cocoon!
In the classroom, we worked on seed sizing – big, medium, and small. The children also painted a flower. We sang “Mr. Sun” and “The Ants go Marching.” We read The Big Hungry Bear during circle.
