Summer News – Big Circle Time Change to 8:30
We are moving our Big Circle gathering time back to 8:30 instead of 8:45. If your drop off time is normally 8:30, please feel free to arrive as early as 8:15 so your child can participate in the Big Circle. Thank you!
Preschool Presentation – Drums Alive – June 22
The Children’sSherri has been at Treehouse for several years, and we will all miss her very much. a Museum will be here next Wednesday for a presentation to our preschooler and kindergartners. We had originally scheduled the Earth Balloon activity, but our ceiling is not high enough for this, so we are happy to have the Drums Alive interactive presentation. Get ready for some rhythm!
Ms. Sherri is retiring!
We knew the day would come when our chef Ms. Sherri would leave us for her next adventure in life. She will be retiring at the end of the month. Sherri has been at Treehouse for several years, and we will all miss her very much. We have been so fortunate to have her delicious and nutritious meals. She took the time to thoughtfully plan meals that would include wholesome ingredients and that would also be “kid friendly”.Sherri has worked tirelessly to establish the Treehouse food program which now includes organic and locally grown fruits, vegetables and milk. Some of you know that Sherri is a very talented artist and we have been able to enjoy her artwork around Treehouse. Please join us in wishing Sherri a bon voyage and best wishes. Her personal letter to families is attached.
Welcome Ms Mary
Mary Sullivan has taken on the role of Treehouse Chef. She has been working with Sherri to learn the Treehouse favorites. Mary comes to us with several years experience as a school chef and she also works as a catering chef. Mary has a love for working with children and a sunny outlook. Welcome Mary!
