Dear River Families,

Thank you for another great week! This week we did a lot of reflective activities and writings. We read one of our last Sanford Harmony stories about our friend “Z”, and made Z in a craft art project! The children have been identifying problems and solutions in two different ways; in stories that we read and with friends in conflict. They were able to reflect and write about a problem and solution they have experienced.  The children reflected on their favorite stories we have read and our favorite activities and units we have done this year!

We had a fantastic trip to the Wow Museum this week! Thank you to all of the volunteers that came with us. The children explored Balance and Motion in a class and had some time to explore the interactive museum. We had our very last peace lesson this week. Ms. Charlotte did one of their favorite activities, The Love Web, with string to wrap up the year. Ask you child about this! Next week the children will take all of their belongings home on Wednesday!

                Our last day of school is on 5/31 as the children will make last touches on packing up, rehearsal for graduation, last day of school reflections and goodbyes. Pick up after 10:30 to be at the library for graduation. Graduation begins at 11:00am and lunch at Lucky Pie to follow! Please let me know if you have any questions!
