Parent Weekly Notes – November 25, 2016
As we reflect this week, we are filled with gratitude and we are very thankful for all the families and children that spend their days with us. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Treehouse Learning! We wish you a wonderful weekend surrounded by family and friends.
Teacher – Staff Gift Policy
This time of the year we often get questions about teacher gifts. Our gift policy limits the value of individual gifts to $25 maximum. We ask that whole teaching teams or the entire staff be recognized. Contributions to our Staff Appreciation Fund are a great way to recognize your child’s teachers. At the end of the year the fund is divided equally between all staff members – including specials teachers and kitchen staff. No obligation! Please do what is comfortable for your family…we also love warm hugs, smiles and hand written notes!
Early Close – FRIDAY, December 9th at 5:00 p.m.
We will be closing early on Friday, December 9th at 5:00 pm so that all the Treehouse teachers and staff may gather for our annual holiday celebration. Thank you for your prompt pick-up!
Love and Light Holiday Performances for Preschool and Kindergarten
Our Love and Light performance is an annual event for Treehouse. Our music teacher Ms Kathleen puts together a lovely show which highlights the love and light of the season, including a variety of songs celebrating many cultures and festivities of the winter holidays. We hope you are able to join us and please invite extended family also.
- Forest and Evergreen performances will take place at the Lafayette Public Library. There will be ample parking in the library parking lot with overflow parking in the King Soopers lot.
- River and Aspen children will perform here at Treehouse.
- All performances begin at 5:00 pm.
- December 6th – River
- December 8th – Forest
- December 13th – Evergreen
- December 15th – Aspen
Holiday Closures
- November 24-25 – NO School, Thanksgiving Holiday Break
- December 26-January 2 – NO School, Winter Break
