Hello Garden and Mountain families,

This week our theme was ramps! The children rolled balls of various different sizes down wooden ramps. We also took advantage of the hot weather and played in the water table outside multiple times this week.

During circle, the children listened to the books Welcome Summer, That’s Not My Tractor and Hands Can. We also sang “The Ants Go Marching”, “Zoom, Zoom, Zoom,” and “If All the Sunbeams”.

In music class with Ms. Kathleen, the children continued to explore the guitar. The children also took turns beating a drum, and danced with shaker eggs. Lastly, the children listened as Ms. Kathleen sang along to the book “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

For art this week the children used stamps to make Father’s day cards. The children also colored with sidewalk chalk on the playground, and colored with markers in the classroom.
