Hello Cedar families,

This week in the Cedar and Dogwood classes we learned about Earth. We talked about living things on Earth such as photos of bugs and animals. The children were very excited to observe bugs climbing the fence outside.  This week the children also practiced hanging their hats on hooks.

During circle time, this week we read: Let it Rain, Dinosaur Fun to Learn, and The Rainy Day Adventure. The children continued building their practical life skills this week by cleaning our tables before snack and stringing big beads. This week in art we finger painted.

In music, this week Ms. Kathleen brought the drum and we danced with scarves to a fast song.  The children also enjoyed dancing and singing “The Alphabet” and “The Itsy Bitsy Spider.”
