Hello Birch families,

This week in Birch class we talked about harvest! We learned about what it means and what foods we can harvest. The children practiced washing vegetables in the sensory table filled with water and soap. We harvested our mint in our garden. The children exercised outside by doing obstacle courses around the playground, doing yoga, and dancing. 

In art, the children used sponges to paint leaves. For practical life, the children worked on stacking cups in the correct size order, matching colors, peg boards, and tons of puzzles! We also talked about shapes!

In music class with Ms. Kathleen, we listened to the audio tractor book and played bells with mallets.  The children also enjoyed trotting to the horse song.
