Hello Birch Families
Spring is finally here! As we approach this season please make sure your child has the appropriate clothes ready in his/her cubby. Now that its getting warmer its time to bring in the sun hats.
This week we learned the word “ dandelion”, we looked at pictures of dandelions and then the children painted their own with Q tips. They also made butterflies out of paper plates and tissue paper. Please come in and check them out!
We read a few books, like Rain Forest Adventure, The Ducking Gets a Cookie, and Down By the Barn during circle time. They’ve been “reading “ Down by the Station and singing the song by themselves which is so cute to watch!
We also went on a morning walk. During the adventurous walk we saw a bunny and heard the birds chirping.
In music this week, Ms. Kathleen brought the book “Waking Up is Hard to Do”. They loved it and they asked to listen to the song again and again!
