Dear Evergreen Families, 

This week in the Evergreen classroom the children have been working on the produce area of the up and coming grocery store. The classroom was previously a house and now it will slowly transform into a grocery store. In the weeks to come the classroom will have a floral department, a bakery, a deli, produce, and checkout area. 

In small groups the children have been making props for the floral department. They have also been reading a book about extended family called Climb The Family Tree, Jesse Bear. They have also been practicing math with a number game. 

In music the children have been learning the songs they will sing for Light And Love.  In Spanish the children have been learning family titles. 

This Friday the children were excited to make new art work with Ms. Melissa. They also loved seeing the storyteller, Ms. Beth Epley.
