Dear Aspen Families,
During our morning circle we read Some Friends To Feed: The Story of Stone Soup and practiced finding items that go together ( i.e. a toothbrush and toothpaste, chalk and a chalkboard). Thursday was Stone Soup day, children washed pretend vegetables, to prepare them for stone soup. We would like to thank all of our families for participating.
This week in music we practiced our Light and Love songs with Ms. Amelia. She brought in a big parachute for us to play with while we sang our songs.
On Thursday and Friday we were stuck inside for most of the day so we sang songs while “rowing” with a giant elastic band, rolled a ball to our classmates, and looked for colors on the ball. We also brought the snow inside for the children to explore. We made SLIME (which as we all know the children love!) the children picked pink for the color of the slime, and searched for counting bears in the sensory bin.
Thank you all for a fantastic week!
Ms. Daisy, Ms. Delani, and Ms. Randi
