December 20

Dear Garden and Mountain families,

The holidays kept us busy this week! In Mountain we participated in “9 Gifts of Treehouse” a Treehouse tradition. Each classroom picked out a gift for another class and on Thursday we took turns presenting our gifts. Garden/Mountain received some new toys! We in turn gave our Chef Mary and assistant Nicky new markers for the black board located at the entryway of the school. Mary and Nicky write what your children will be eating at lunch each morning.

In music this week the children loved singing “Snowball Fight” with Ms. Amelia. This is an interactive song Ms. Amelia uses with a ball to roll back and forth with our little ones! This week we were able to get some fresh air with multiple stroller walks.

In Garden this week we continue to grow and reach milestones everyday. We worked on reaching for objects and tracking different objects, as well as tummy time for all of our infants. This week we had many children trying new foods and eating independently. The children especially enjoyed reading Snowballs by Lois Ehlert and they loved reading the sing along story The Itsy Bitsy Snowman by Jeffrey Burton.

We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful winter break!

Ms. Miranda, Ms. Andrea, Ms. Jess, Ms. Mariela, Ms. Delilah, Ms. Danielle and Ms. Allie
