Dear Garden and Mountain Families,

This week the children were busy learning all about the ocean. We read 1,2,3 In The Sea and Animals in the Ocean. The children enjoyed looking at different types of fish, feeling sea shells and singing different songs about fish. We stayed extra busy exploring the outdoors, painting with water on the concrete, coloring with crayons and stacking with the large blocks. The children have especially enjoyed exploring the push toys, climbing on the indoor mats and crawling/walking up and down the ramp in the Mountain classroom. With the weather so warm in the afternoon this allows the children to get all the gross motor movement they need while being inside. We hope you have a great weekend!
