Dear Garden and Mountain families,

The children enjoyed another week exploring our camping theme. They loved playing in the sand, exploring the flashlight and playing inside our teepee. We read The Bear Went Over the Mountain by Iza Trapani and we all pretended to crawl around the class like a bear. 

The children were able to explore the wooden ramp we have in the classroom. We demonstrated how to place the ball at the top and we watched it roll down the ramp. The children were super interested in this activity. We used wooden and rubber balls. Some children preferred one over the other and it was fun to watch them explore. This activity allowed us the opportunity to take turns, make choices, and learn cause and effect.
