Dear Cedar families,

This week in the Cedar and Dogwood classrooms we focused on introducing children to the fall schedule and settling into daily routines. We talked about what a peaceful classroom means and how to take care of the classroom. We showed the children how to use and then put back activities on the correct shelf, as well as where the trash and compost are located. Our sensory work included making a large classroom picture with finger paint, and an individual hand print. Some children found the paint in between their fingers fascinating while others were apprehensive to put their hands into paint and preferred to watch their classmates.
