Dear Cedar families,
This week in the Cedar and Dogwood classrooms we learned all about families. We talked about family members and used your family pictures from home to point out all the moms, dads, brothers, sisters and even pets. One of their favorite stories this week was Passing By by Yona Tepper. In the story, a little girl watches neighbors passing by from the balcony and ends with her Dad asking to take her on a walk.
This week our sensory activities included using stamps to work on the fine motor skills of grabbing and pushing downward with a utensil onto paper. The intention of music this week was to keep a beat to songs like “Baby Beluga” with shaker eggs and bells. We are looking forward to our first lessons about Fall starting next week.
Have a great weekend!
Ms. April, Ms. Eileen, Ms. Denise and Ms. Becky
