Summer Program
Next week we enter into our final two weeks of our Summer Program. It has been a fast summer! Preschool and Kindergarten students will enjoy a visit from CU for their “Bat Tales” presentation. These fascinating creatures of the night are actually very common in and around our area. 9:30 and 10:45 on Wednesday.
Automatic Debit
If you have signed up for automatic debit, funds will be withdrawn on August 5th for the final time this term. You must sign a new authorization form each year, new forms will be distributed in your Back-to-School night packet, or you can pick one up at the front desk next week.
Fall Transitions – Meet the Teachers
Most of our students are “moving up” to a new classroom in the fall. Transitions and visits will take place in the next couple of weeks. We will have the children visit as a group, spend some time in the new classroom, and on the playground. Parents of children moving into the Aspen, Evergreen and Forest rooms are invited to come to an informal Meet-n-Greet the Teachers on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00-5:00 pm. Kindergarten Meet-n-Greet will be on Wednesday August 3rd at 4:00 pm.

Staff Updates
As was mentioned in the Parent Handbook, sometimes personal circumstances occur that prompt our teachers to make changes. This month we will say good-bye to Abbey Minton. Abbey – teacher in Forest – joined us last year as a new resident of Colorado, however she has found it necessary to return to Missouri and be closer to family. Abbey is a wonderful teacher and we certainly wish her all the best.
Other news:
Candice Montoya joined the Treehouse administration team in March. She has several years of experience as a lead teacher and she is highly educated, trained and motivated. Candice has found that admin is not for her and that her real love is being in the classroom. We are thrilled to have Candice take the Lead Teacher position in the Aspen room for the upcoming year.
Amanda Mercado has been at Treehouse as Riann’s assistant in the Evergreen room. Amanda has a degree in Early Childhood Education and she has been a fantastic addition to the preschool team. Amanda will be moving up to the Forest room for the upcoming year.
