Parent Weekly Notes – November 11, 2016
This events of this week have been troubling as the nation seems to be wrestling with its social and moral values. It is certainly concerning that vile language and disrespect have now become normalized and viewed as acceptable. Please know, that at Treehouse Learning, our mission has not changed. We refuse to let bad behavior become the new normal. We believe that kindness and tolerance are character assets. Bullies, racism and humiliation will not be tolerated. We will continue to empower children and show them ways to express their emotions and opinions in respectful ways. We hope that as children leave Treehouse Learning they grow into competent, spirited and dignified young adults that can embody compassion, acceptance and grace. Our world needs this now and always. And all children deserve a world where love is more powerful than hate.
