Good afternoon Evergreen families!

This week in Evergreen the children learned about two light and love celebrations, Hanukah and St. Lucia Day. They learned about different ways people worked together to help others in their community. Whether it’s a building project or giving food, clothing, and gifts to others, the children learned many ways people can work together and help each other.

The Evergreen children shared the gift of their voices while singing in their Light and Love performance. The worked together to learn their songs, and they were very excited to share that gift with all of you. Thank you so much for supporting their hard work, and coming to join them.

This week, the children have been working hard on a gift to give to their families. It involves creativity and patience, as they design their gift and cards, and wait for all the drying. They are very excited to pick the wrapping paper and ribbon, and to give another gift to their family.
