Good afternoon Dogwood families,
This week was a busy week with transitions and the beginning of our summer schedule.
During small circle the children sang “ABC’s”, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and “Itsy Bitsy Spider”, and we also played hand bells.
The children read: Who Can Hop? We Can Go to the Beach, The Super Sun, and Hooray for Summer!
The children worked on their large motor skills when they practiced different animal Yoga poses, practiced jumping up and down and when they danced around while listening to jazz music.
Practical life skills were used when gardening and watering our plants on the playground.
During art, the children: used spray bottles and paint brushes to make masterpieces outside.
The children explored with the new water works and water table outside.
During music class Ms. Kathleen played her guitar for the children and then let each child have a turn playing as well.
