Good afternoon Garden and Mountain families,

This week the children experimented with paints, rolling balls, sand, and magnetic “Grippie” blocks.  The children read books with sounds and textures to explore such as Touch and Feel ABC, Noisy Touch and Feel Truck, and That’s Not my Lion.  The children sang songs related to summer such as “Mr. Golden Sun,” “Slippery Fish,” and “Five Little Ducks.”

The children practiced putting hats and pieces of fabric on their heads, putting fabric pieces in a tissue box, and stacking cups.  The children used push toys, worked on the downward dog yoga pose, and rolled balls down ramps and to each other.

In music with Ms. Kathleen, the children listened to insect animal sounds.  The children also played bells and shaker eggs.  The children also danced with scarves!
