Good Afternoon Evergreen Families

This week in Evergreen, we continued to discuss different bugs and insects. Specifically, this week, we focused on bees. We began with a discussion about what facts the children already knew, followed by books about bees, art projects, and watching bees in the garden. Finally, the children enjoyed an art project presented by The Arvada Center about The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carl. This was a great interactive presentation, and the children created their own unique caterpillars to take home!

As we prepare the children for the upcoming school year, students will begin visiting the Forest classroom next week. They will get to explore the new environment, be introduced to expectations and classroom lessons, and spend time with their new teachers.

Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!
