Hello Garden and Mountain Families,
We had another great week in the infant rooms. During circle this week, the children listened to the books, Little Owl’s Night, Miss Mary Mack, and Old McDonald Had a Truck. The children also listened to the songs “The Ants Go Marching,” “The More We Get Together,” and “The ABC’s.”
In music class with Ms. Kathleen this week, the children listened to different animal sounds. They also took turns banging on a drum with a drumstick. Lastly, the children explored jingle bells and shaker eggs during music class.
For art this week, the children finger painted with different colors. The children also had the opportunity to take a buggy walk and look at the changing fall leaves.
At Treehouse Learning, we use sign language with the infants frequently throughout the day. These simple signs are a great way to communicate with non-verbal infants. If you are interested in learning some basic sign language to use with your child please check out the website below:

We celebrated one birthday this week. Happy first birthday to Salvator!
Have a great weekend!
