Dear Cedar Families,

We have seen so much love this week as we talked about kindness. We have practiced gentle touches, caring hugs, and all around support for our classmates. Helping each other up when we fall and asking if classmates are “ok” has also been warming to see. We have enjoyed seeing that the children are all incredibly kind. We read about sharing and practiced it in the classroom, along with turn taking and waiting. We hope you have seen some of these practices at home.

Next week we are going to start talking about winter as it approaches. Specifically, we will be talking about the animals in winter. We are still seeing flocks of birds flying south and have begun watching the squirrels prepare for winter as well. These natural phenomena bring us closer to our earth while helping us understand the changes around us.
