November 15

Dear Garden and Mountain Families,

This week in Mountain we read the Read-along Sing-along: Trip to the Zoo The Wheels on the Bus by Jeanne Wills. The children really enjoyed this book as it talks about different zoo animals on the bus! The children especially enjoyed the activity animal rescue. We taped different animals to the table and allowed the children to practice pulling off the tape. This is a great fine motor activity that practices eye and hand coordination. We also made sensory bags using different colors of paint. During this activity we talked about the different colors and practiced taking turns with our friends!

In Garden we stayed extra busy with our new friends. We worked on sitting, tummy time and some of our little ones are learning to hold their own bottle. We sang “If All of the Raindrops” and “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star!” These two songs the children really enjoyed this week.

Just a friendly reminder that all bottles that are brought in each day need to be labeled with your child’s first name, last name, and the date. All milk that is frozen requires that we have a clean back up bottle in your child’s cubby.  Also, please make sure all coats and hats are labeled as well. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

We hope everyone has a great weekend!

Ms. Miranda, Ms. Andrea, Ms. Jess, Ms. Mariela, and Ms. Delilah
