Dear Birch families,

This week we’ve welcomed Ana, Jack, Hudson, Sikia, Sophie, Wyatt and Charlie in Birch! And since we have many new children, we’ve used this week to remember and review the classroom rules. During circle time they children have separated food from plates into two different categories and talked about different types of food. We have also been singing “Itsy Bitsy Spider/la araña pequeñita.”  

On our Friday walk we explored lots! We saw many birds, a cat, an airplane and when we came back in we crunched some leaves we picked from the ground. They were listening so quietly to hear the crunching.

In music with  Ms. Amelia we keep playing all the new instruments, learning about Benin and singing African songs. They loved dancing with partners and jumping.
