Dear Garden and Mountain families,
This week was another busy week as we are still adjusting from the holiday break. All the children have started doing new things and are reaching so many milestones all at once.
All the children are loving music class with Ms. Amelia. This week they enjoyed exploring all the different musical instruments that she brought in each day. We took multiple stroller walks this week and even played outside on Friday. We explored the textured blocks and we explored a lot of different books. The children especially like the indestructible books that are new to our classroom. Indestructibles are books built for the way babies “read”-with their hands and mouths! Chew-proof, rip-proof, and drool-proof, they’re printed on a unique 100% nontoxic, paper-like material that holds up to anything. These books are also washable which is convenient for the use in a classroom setting. A fun fact about Indestructibles: Indestructibles were invented by a mother of triplets who wanted to share books with her babies, hassle-free.
In Mountain we sang “The Itsy Bitsy Monkey” and we read Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdbey. We had fun filling the sensory table with different objects that the children were able to scoop using small shovels.
We hope everyone has a great weekend!
