Dear Dogwood families,

This week in Cedar and Dogwood we focused on our amazing bodies. We read books such as ABC Look at Me and I Can Share. Our favorite book this week was Peek-a-Baby. This book is a fun picture book with lifting flaps and helped us create a conversation about what we put on our heads.

In art, the children enjoyed using bingo dabbers.  They are fun to stamp and drag across the paper! 

We practiced skills such as wiping noses and flipping jackets. We also enjoyed buggy rides and playing outside. 

We sang songs about our bodies such as “Shake your Sillies Out” and “If you’re Happy and You Know It.” The children’s favorite song was “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.”
