Dear Birch families,
This week we have been learning more about our body parts and how they are different from some animals, like the white whale, which does not have a nose but a spout! We have been focusing on our hands this week and how we can guess which toy is in a box by using our hands, not our eyes. Check out the pictures!
For a sensory experience, we have introduced white sand. The children enjoyed scooping it up and when it fell out of the bucket, we practiced sweeping too!
On Wednesday, we visited the library in the big room. The children enjoyed finding books and checking out the sitting mats.
The children have also enjoyed the nice weather by spending a bit more time outside running and using the climber!
During music, Ms. Amelia gave them jingle bells, and they practiced shaking it with different body parts. What they liked the most was the “soup” she made with them, and putting all the ingredients in. They even took turns stirring it!
Have a good weekend!
Ms. Lorena, Ms. Abbi, and Ms. Daisy
