July 3

Dear Garden and Mountain Families,

This week the children explored the Usborne touchy-feely books written by Fiona Watt and illustrated by Rachel Wells. This delightful series of board books is aimed at very young children. The bright pictures, with their patches of different textures, are designed to develop sensory and language awareness. Babies and toddlers love turning the pages and touching the feely patches.

Our little ones are moving around the classroom so quickly. We have one child who has started to take some steps, one child learned to pull up to a stand and the rest are cruising around so fast. As our class is on the older side and all eating some type of solid foods we take this opportunity to use our baby signs more often. These signs include: eat, finished, more, please, thank you, milk, water and help. Next week we look forward to learning about fish with different types of activities.

We hope everyone has a wonderful three day weekend!

Ms. Miranda, Ms. Andrea and Ms. Danielle
