Dear Cedar families,

We had a fun week in the Cedar and Dogwood classrooms learning all about Colorado. We sang songs such as “She’ll be Coming around the Mountain” and “The Desperado” by Nancy Cassidy.

Our art projects included coloring the Colorado flag and making columbine flowers out of tissue paper. The crunchy sound of the tissue paper was a big hit for sensory learners. We also discussed what a “rocky” mountain is.
