Hello Evergreen families, 

I cannot believe that next week is our last week of the summer session here at Treehouse! This week we talked all about the key components that make us successful in sports, school, friendships etc.; cooperation, communication, persistence, and teamwork. We also learned and explored different fun outdoor activities. We learned how to jump rope and did some fun physical challenges; we discussed the importance exercise has on our mood, health, and brains. One day, we explored the importance of communication and teamwork when we used a parachute to throw balls high into the sky. We did number hopscotch and practiced team work by mixing up the numbers and asking the children to help each other find the number their friend needed to jump on.

On Friday, we did an obstacle course outside, which the children really enjoyed. We also continued art lessons with Ms. Melissa.
