Parent Weekly Notes – February 24, 2017

The teachers enjoyed a robust day of training and professional development on Monday.  It is rewarding and exciting to be working alongside this group of Early Learning Professionals!

We Love Music!

This week the preschoolers were treated to a morning presentation of string instruments.  Each child was also given the opportunity to touch and play the violin, cello and viola.  What a fantastic way to spark your child’s love of music!   I encourage you to also check out the Tiny Tots concert series. Go to www.insidetheorchestra.org for more information.  Tiny Tots gets children truly “inside the orchestra” by seating the audience on the floor and surrounding them with a 30+ piece professional orchestra. The conductor faces the audience and talk directly to the kids throughout the performance, asking questions and teaching them about the music as it is playing around them.
