Parent Weekly Notes – October 21, 2016

Thank you to the Parent Group and all the volunteers that provided us with a wonderful salad bar pot luck this week!   We also want to thank ALL of our parents for their participation in attending the fall Parent/Teacher conferences!  It’s great to be a part of the Treehouse Community!

Parent Education Event – Dr. Chris Marchioni from Healthy Learning Paths Presents:

  • “Beyond the Classroom” – Too Much of a Good Thing
  • Tuesday, November 1st – 4:00-5:00 pm
  • Here at Treehouse Learning
  • FREE Childcare provided…sign up at front desk

In today’s world of abundant technology at the fingertips of our children, how do we balance their access to “screen time”?  We know our kids are masters at navigating IPods, IPads, Smart Phones, etc.  But is this a good thing?  Please join us for information and discussion on how to manage this at home.

  • Tuesday – Toddlers (Cedar, Dogwood, Birch)

  • Thursday – Preschool/Kindergarten (Forest, River)

Coming Up:

October 31st – Fall Dress-Up Day

We will host our annual fall dress-up day on Monday, October 31st.  Many children choose to “dress-up” in pajamas or fancy clothes, but costumes are welcome as well.  Please, no masks, face paint, or weapons.  Also, make sure your child has appropriate outdoor shoes for PE and playground time.

Let’s have fun!  Thank You!

November 12th – 8:00-11:00 am – Annual Pancake Breakfast

Come as you are!  Bring the whole family.  Warm delicious pancakes, natural organic sausages, fresh   juices and hot coffee will be served up for your enjoyment.  This is one of our favorite events and we are happy to continue the tradition!  We’ll see you there!
