Hello Garden and Mountain families,

This week we continued our theme of zoo animals.  During circle we sang “5 Little Elephants Balancing” and “We’re Going to the Zoo.”  The children listened to Dear Zoo, Peek Inside the Zoo, and We’re Going to the Zoo.      

For large motor activities this week, the children explored various push toys. The children also crawled through tunnels. The children really enjoyed when a parent brought in a large box. For art this week the children made art with bingo dabbers. The children also used paint to make Mother’s Day cards. The children also explored with playdough.

In music class with Ms. Kathleen, the children listened to The Bear Went Over the Mountain and sang to a stuffed bear. They also listened to Ms. Kathleen singing “Old King Cole” and other nursery rhymes. Lastly the children explored shaky eggs.
