Dear Treehouse Families,
First week under our belt! Thanks to everyone that was able to stop in for the Back-to-School events. If you didn’t make it, check your parent file for a packet of information.
brightwheel
We hope you are all enjoying the new brightwheel app as much as we are! Thank you for your patience as we work through the kinks! Here are some helpful tips and reminders we’ve discovered along the way…..
- You can change your code for checking your child/ren in/out within your profile on the app.
- You can also control the push notifications you receive within your profile so if you do not want to be notified every time your child uses the bathroom you can turn it off!
- You can and should upload a picture of your child to their profile.
- You can message the teachers anytime with questions or information pertaining to your child such as when they woke up, last ate, or what kind of mood they are in. Infant and Toddler parents should do this every day.
- Approved pick ups have two options:
- We can send an invite via text that they will use to create their own account. They will not have access to any information or your child’s feed but it does allow them to change their code and use the same code for multiple children OR
- We can add them to your account and provide you with the code the system populates.
Please note, the brightwheel messages, photos, etc will be specific to your child. We are still using the Treehouse Learning Parent Portal on our website to post classroom weekly messages and group photos from the week. We hope that the combination of the two programs draws you in and gives you a more complete view of your child’s days and weeks here with us at Treehouse Learning.
New Faces at Treehouse
Welcome back to returning families and Hello to all our new families! Please feel free to introduce yourself to us, and we will do the same! Teachers are great at remembering children’s names, but it usually takes us longer to remember adult names.

Goodbyes:
We will say good-bye to Delanie Massey (Cedar) next week. She has been battling some issues and she needs to take some time to pay attention to her health. Delanie is one of the hardest working teachers here and a committed educator. Please join us in thanking her for her dedication and wish her the very best.
Ms. Karina will step in to take over as the lead teacher for the Cedar classroom.
Have a great weekend!
