Hello Garden and Mountain Families,

We had another great week in the infant rooms. During circle this week the children listened to the books, Llama Llama Red Pajama, The Wheels on the Bus, and Love is You and Me. The children also listened to the songs, “Come on Everybody,” “If You’re Happy and You Know It,” and “The More We Get Together.”

For art activities this week the children colored on black paper with chalk. They also used chalk to color outside on the sidewalk.

The playground has recently been coated in beautiful yellow Aspen leaves, so for a fun sensory experience this week, the children helped gather the leaves on our playground. Then they explored the leaves in the sensory table.

For practical life activities this week the children placed coins and buttons into slots and drawers.

In music class with Ms. Kathleen this week, the children listened to different animal sounds. They also took turns banging on a drum with a drumstick. Lastly, the children explored jingle bells and shaker eggs during music class.
