Hello Garden and Mountain Families,

We had another great week in the infant rooms! This week during circle we read I Am a Tree, Duck and Goose Find a Pumpkin, and My Pumpkin. We also sang, “5 Little Monkeys Swinging in a Tree,” “The Ants Go Marching,” and “If All the Snowflakes.”

 

The cold and wet weather this week kept the babies inside a lot, but we were able to go on several stroller walks with the children.

 

Inside the children enjoyed a variety of art and sensory experiences. The children explored with playdough and colored with colored pencils. The children also worked together to create a winter mural, using sponges and rollers with blue and white paint.

 

In music class this week, the children read and sang along to the book A Very Busy Day. The children also continued to explore the resonator bells, shaker eggs, and scarves.

 

This week we welcomed a new teacher to our classroom. We are very excited to have Ms. Eileen as part of our team!
