Hello Cedar Families,

This week the Cedar and Dogwood classes focused on farm animals.  The children listened to the books Animals in the Fall, I Spy on the Farm, Click, Clack Surprise, The Red Barn, and everyone’s favorite Old MacDonald. 

Ms. Kathleen brought bells for the children to work on keeping the rhythm in music class.  The children also rocked to slow, instrumental music.  Music class was not complete this week without singing with the songbook Driving my Tractor.   

The children enjoyed moving like animals outside.  Their favorite seemed to be galloping like horses around the playground.  They also made farm animals in the sandbox by using molds.
