November 2

Hello Birch families,

This week in the Birch class we talked about Halloween and feelings. We talked about all of the things children see and do on and around Halloween, such as: pumpkins, bats, costumes, scarecrows, ghosts, and so much more. The end of this week was all about feelings.  On Thursday the children talked about feeling mad and sad and on Friday had a much more positive discussion about feeling happy or silly.

During circle time we read There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Bat and Room On The Broom.  During work time the children practiced threading beads and worked with play dough. In art this week the children painted with bingo dabbers and colored with crayons.

In music with Ms. Kathleen we danced with scarves, played shaker eggs, and listened to horse sounds.

Have a great weekend!
Ms. Lorena, Ms. Delani, and Ms. Sloan
